KAMU is proud to announce the selection of its Director of Oral Health, Heather Robinson, RDH, into the Dental Champions Leadership Program. Robinson was selected based on her role as one of the state’s dental health leaders.

HeatherCrop (1)The Dental Champions Leadership Program was created and is operated by Oral Health Kansas. The program allows participants to enhance their leadership and personal development skills. The goal of the program is to create state-level leaders who are engaged in improving the oral Health in Kansas.
“I am truly honored to have been given the opportunity to join the Dental Champions Leadership Program. I look forward to both the personal and professional development in leadership capacity and to ultimately utilize my skills to better the oral health of all Kansans,” said Robinson.

Heather Robinson is a Registered Dental Hygienist who worked in the private dental sector for 19 years before joining KAMU in 2014. She is a graduate of the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Dentistry with a Bachelor of Science degree.

“We are excited to have had Heather selected as a Dental Champion. She is passionate about increase access to and improving the quality of oral health care. She will be great asset to this program,” said Denise Cyzman, KAMU Executive Director.
